I don't have it, I have no strong feelings about it either way.
Though I do enjoy some of the group names, one of my favourites is "an arbitrary number of people demanding some form of action be taken."
Plus there is a group for like every line in the kinks' Village green preservation society, which is amusing.

j_rockr-the fact that millions use it is quite a good reason to make use of it too.Since I've been on Facebook I've been able to trace my family tree back to the 16th century in Dorset and even found that a forebear of mine was a pirate that sailed with Blackbeard and was hanged for piracy.I've also met up with friends I haven't seen for many decades and people from all corners of the earth who share common ancestors from the Devon/Cornwall/Dorset area of England. The whole thing has been a huge educational experience for me.

wow, that's cool. i'm not saying facebook is a bad thing for everyone, or that everyone that uses it is a conformist or not an individual. i just don't personally like it, and i don't see an immediate use for it.

i do agree with CC in saying that it's a good tool for bands to use to get known, and having a large, spread-out family makes it especially useful. if i had a band i'd probably use it if only to get the word out. but hey, to each their own. 8)

facebook has ruined my life..so yes but please if anyone hasn't got one but is planning to please dont.

how so? only reason i even go on anymore is to "like" random stuff and post rants about justin bieber

cause i cant help but go on it every like every 10 minutes! even though theres nothing to see or do i'm addicted to it. i spose it only has one good reason, to find your old friends that you somehow faded away from...
