i have a gretsch electromatic pro jet, it is a nice guitar but i bought it used and it has had some work done. some i like, some i am not sure about... The pickups have been upgraded to Guitar Fetish (Pro), the bridge was upgraded to a roller micro-tune thing from germany (pro), and last but not least the tuners were switched out from the original ones to the Sperzel locking tuners.... not sure if it is a pro or con.

what are your opinions of the Sperzel locking tuners? Love em? Hate em? don't care?

I was thinking about buying a set of the streamliner style tuners and putting them in... but maybe i should just let enough alone.
the other thing is when they put in the Sperzels they had to put new holes in (the back not where the pegs go through) and it made some swirls on the clear coat so i was thinking of getting that re-cleared. again... maybe i should just let it go and play it. any opinions are welcome.

Locking tuners on a Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster do not seem to make any difference, in this opinion.
