Certainly a sweet guitar,'39 was the 1st year for the New Yorker Spanish Electric,prior to that from '31 -'38 it was just known as the Electric Spanish. The New Yorker was made until '58 but according to my price guide the top worth is $1,000 but having said that I think I'd be inclined to pay more than that for such a pristine beauty since it has the pat. applied for bridge pup.
