+1 on E.J... However one day that will be possible

With my playing speed, I can cover Hubert Sumlin, Kiff Richards, etc (current age)

Nearly anything by Skip James, fingerstyle blues is just impossible for me.

I know you said Guitar but the bassline for the man who sold the world by David Bowie. Unbelievably hard and a little bit of weird timing.

+ on EJ or any other technical guitarist tune! :) I keep it simple...

Not one song, but I'd love to play some Flamenco, but it aint my style and it sure aint easy!

This is not exactly Flamenco but Paco is on there with some friends, so you get an idea...

I'd be happy with 10% of his guitar skills! My fingers only know how to play the blues :(

Rude Mood is killing me. It sounds easy enough, but there are so many tiny little things added that it's really hard to play right.

And of course there are certain metal type arpeggios and tapping and bursts of speed which I can't play very well or very fast. I don't think that a Strat set up for bending is supposed to be able to do stuff like that anyway.

John Lee Hookers stuff is tough to play properly. Sounds simple, but it isn't.

Just about any of Jimi's leads and especially Machine Gun,my fondest dream is to be able just to create the sound effects he creates on that song.I can do a reasonable facsimile of the Star Spangled Banner but Machine Gun is really perplexing.

My playing is pretty limited. I also don't put enough effort into learning songs. If I get frustrated I just play something easier, which makes it very hard to have breakthroughs. With all that being said, I constantly go back to try and learn Litte Wing by Hendrix and really can't seem to put it together.

It's cool to think about Dickey sitting at Elizabeth Reed Napier's grave site in Macon with an acoustic picking out that song....if you've never been there it overlooks the railroad and river and is a peaceful place.
I have played everything Duane and Dickey did for years and the absolute hardest thing to figure out for me at times is the harmony lines, sometimes they are so tight you can't hear who plays what....stuff like Blue Sky.I guess if you had alot of theory training it would be easier, but I learned the same way they did....they were naturals though....and alot of that style comes from Western Swing.
Most of the time Dickey played the melody and Duane played the harmony.
