i am about to buy a orvis 9 9wt.
its from their mountain series.
$150 for it and a LG arbor reel.

waycool, my wife and me go fishin' any chance we get. not experts or anything, we just prefer the outdoors, clean air and countryside. this city really brings me down when i don't have a chance to escape for awhile.

yea we are headed out to the island for the yrs end shark trip.
the bull reds and tarpon are running too. hope i get one of each at least.
not taking my kayaks this time though. :cry:

Yep, both normal and from kayak.

Kayaks can make it interesting, especially if you tie into something big :)

We've started using little ice fishing rods and a folding net from the kayaks to try to keep things a bit more managable.

lol mine is loaded down. fishfinder, lights, livewell, GPS, and usually 2 solid 15-30 class rigs and 2 60-80lb class rigs.

I am not a fishing man, I don't like to torture the prey so I shoot it in stead :P :lol: .
But I would like to kayak some day with my Remington and hunt "black" birds and/or segulls.

i know folks that do duck hunting from a kayak. PERFECT boat for doing so. even a place in the back for the dog. google it for pics. some of the camo they use is crazy amazing.

I will mention... Bull Shoals lake, Norfork Lake, The White and Buffalo Rivers.
All in my backyard Lake Tannycomo and Table rock lake just a short drive north...
