Folks: please take a few minutes to hop by and check out this new feature -- I'd love to hear some feedback:

http://www.fender.com/features/onlinelessons/

Do the lessons load quickly? Do you find the content useful? etc...

Hey I just had a quick browse through, loaded up fine for me but it might be different for others?

I think it's pretty cool, presentation and content wise. I like watching lesson videos and stuff so i like it :)

Brad,
Just checked real quick, loads fine and checked out part of 1 lesson.
Seems like this will be a pretty good site. I plan on checking it more throughly a little later. As for now, so I don't have to go searching for it, I have it in my favorites list. I'll go through it tomorrow and give it a good once over, and post my thoughts on the lessons. Thanks for putting something like this on the site. newwt aka Dave

This is great Brad! the videos loaded fine for me and the content is helpful. i like how you organized the videos into different genres, and different steps for each genre. I'll be checking these out soon for sure. Well done. :D

Another hit from the Fender crew. This is great, a very cool idea, congrats guys. Sadly the playing is like a stop and go thing, or hickup. I usually don't have repeated problems like this on my computer, so It must be a bug somewhere else. I can't wait to watch them all in real time. Kudos guys.

I personally would like to see a full screen option on the embedded player. Aside from that all is fine. Maybe a little more of a face on view of the fretboard in certain parts. Particularly the beginner lessons. I only say this because whenever I show a new player anything they near break their neck looking at the fretboard from all sorts of weird angles.

Great choice of teachers too.

The lessons loaded quickly and played without any problems. Checked out both beginner and advanced lessons for lead guitar. Great idea Brad! I'm sure I'll be using these in the future. Can't wait to see more. Thanks Fender!

Awesome! I have slow DSL and it locks up but it should work great on replay.

As far as the content the basic stuff should be very helpful for someone that just got their first guitar but the intermediate and advanced seem way over most peoples heads including mine. Which is fine but it becomes confusing when they are only pieces of the puzzle like most guitar mags and videos. I have yet to see someone pull it all together in a couple of videos or books.

great idea brad. everything seems to load fine.
would be cool to have the tabs printable. also the volume on some vidoes seem lower than on others. the beginner videos seem lower volume than say john5's video.
would be very cool if you guys started at the very begining for the newbie that doesnt have much experience, like how to tune a guitar, how to hold a pick, how to learn and memorize the notes on the neck etc etc.
some basic theory would be nice too.
