Just saw Rush last night in Pittburgh PA, and it was a great show. The band has been a favorite of mine since 1970s, and they are still going strong. Alex, Geddy and Neil all put on a strong performance, and I am always happy to have gone.
I know this is a Fender site, but Alex can WAIL like he always could on the Les Paul and ES-335. Hey, he DID play a Tele on 1 song, so I guess he is a little bit of a Fender guy. Geddy did play 3 different Jazz basses, including a sharp red one in addition to his 2 black ones.
GO SEE THIS SHOW!!!

Alex Lifeson produces the most beautiful tone colour no matter what guitar he chooses to play. Listen to his work for a lesson in BIG sound without excessive distortion. These three are a real class act. I believe I've seen them at least 7 times over the years and never disappointed.

Theres' footage in "Beyond The Lighted Stage" of Lifeson playing a Strat on stage, so there had been a Fender in his life.

Rush is one of the greatest bands, true artists, rather than just musicians.

Saw them in DC on Saturday night. Awesome show. I've seen them several times in the past and each time the shows get better. Even if you aren't a huge fan, the show will still impress you.

Good times!
