The Edge from U2. Modern reliability with a big headstock of a 70's strat. Name the guitar "The Edge" while their at it.

I personally think that Vince Gill should have a sig Strat. Yeah, he uses a Telecaster more, but more than likely, it's not that far from a Tex-Mex or a Nashville Tele. But just to see Fender put out a Strat with some EMG pickups, I would love that.

I was thinking not too long ago they had some Telecasters with a paisley finish. Pretty sure that's all he was playing.

Oh maybe Robbie Robertson. I saw him on Crossroads, he was using some weird strat... the first singlecoil was right by the neck, where it should be, but the middle one wasn't in the middle position but was instead next to the bridge pickup, side by side, looking like a slanted humbucker. I couldn't quite figure out which kind of strat this was, the paint job was also one I have never seen (it was a WEIRD sunburst with black pickguard)

1. Hendrix
2. Duane Allman
3. I know he has his own custom, but I'd like to try a Brian may strat. With some Tri-sonic pups and hollow chambered mahogany strat body... yah I'd try it.
