Folks:

It's time for us to go ahead and wrap up our Forum T-shirt Photo Contest which has been running for two years at this point. In that time we've seen some truly great submissions and, although I never did actually sell all of the shirts that were manufactured (in fact, I have a giant box stuffed to the brim with 'em), I'm still really looking forward to awarding the prize!!

Anyway ... I've gathered all of the entries that were received onto the following voting page. It's now time for you to please head over and pick your favorite 5 photos -- you'll need to be signed in to the forums in order to do so:

I've set up a somewhat-overkill automated rating system behind the scenes, so the winner will be chosen fairly regardless of how many photos that individual submitted.

A few folks have observed that there are a few non-qualifying photos posted at the link above -- obviously any votes for those will be discarded.

And, as a reminder ... our big winner receives a now-slightly-dusty Fender HotSeat by Overkill Design. It's been hanging out at my desk since this thing started, and oh the stories it could tell at this point.

As with other promotional opportunities I've offered up here in the past, it's A-OK with me if our winner lies outside the U.S. as long as that winner understands and accepts any specific import duties that may accompany acceptance of the prize.

We'll leave the voting open for a week -- so you have until Wednesday, September 22 to make your selections. After which I'll be selecting and announcing our winner.

Pondering ending the voting a bit earlier here -- maybe going ahead and closing it on Friday rather than letting it go a full week. Any preferences? Any objections? My general sense is that folks are pretty tired of seeing this or anything regarding it posted as a "Sticky" message at this point and I can't say I blame you as long as it's been.

Those couldn't be all the pictures. The person I want to vote for is not even there. How did the ship make it? It's not wearing a T-shirt.

Yup, that's all of the photos that are still actually hosted -- I did find when putting this together that a number of folks had submitted photo URL's that no longer even exist. That's just a testament to how long it's been, unfortunately.

Just got that photo from Wild Rose added to the bottom of the voting page -- mustangtoo, go ahead and place your vote for it! Meanwhile, I didn't hear any objections here in this thread to going ahead and wrapping this up so I'll probably go ahead and close up the voting some time this weekend or early next.

Well, I'm going to have to object because it is Yom Kippur this weekend and alot of my buddies can't vote. I was hoping they would vote for me so I could win and ask you to give the prize to Wild Rose, since her pic wasn't up.

But I'll go and vote for her and hope my friends can do the same.
