Are they actually shipping??? If so I wonder why Fender hasn't announced them yet??? And at that price, I would think they would sell a lot of them.

No Not at all, but why isn't Fender advertising them? I thought someone said they were going to release them in mid September...

I played the Blue Strat-Bucker at CG over the week-end. Good range and a nice neck. Very un-Strat sounding, but that's the point. Can't wait to ger my hands on the Jazzmaster clones.

Cheers,
John.E

Got my Musician's Friend newsletter with these featured. I like the Strat and Tele in CAR.

MF is selling them for $449.99. I for one am stoked about this guitar line. I am thinking of trading one of my Stratocasters for one. I really like the HH Stratocaster with a rosewood neck. Maybe the blue one. I cannot wait to play one and see if they play as well as they look. This will also fill my need for a kick-butt HH guitar.

Looks like my Squier CV 60's days are numbered.

Now if only they made the Strat a hardtail with the Blacktop Tele's bridge. Actually, they should have stuck with the standard ashtray bridge for the Tele IMO.

Are these Mexican made or are they from Asia? I just can't really understand why they would be cheaper than a Mexican Standard.
