Hey did a search for this and can't imagine it's not on here already but I didn't get any hits.

I am looking for a recommended supplier of Fender colors and finishes. In particular I am looking for bing cherry and vintage satin for the neck.

Doing a MasterCaster of my own, tri-pup, with SD lil' 59 bridge, SD vintage rails middle, and full size SD SH-2 in the neck with coil split for all three on the push/pull tone and bridge on function with the push/pull volume. Naturally, a 5 way switch instead of just 3.

Got a white pearloid pickguard with abalone inlays on the custom neck, abalone inserts on the volume and control, and abalone custom logo, not Fender, insignia on the headstock.

Need to get it finished though. Here's the bing cherry on a Strat.

And the Vintage Satin for the neck.

Advise appreciated . . .

I could only assume that whichever finish supplier Fender uses, they are probably set up to only deal in large quantitites. So unless you want to finish 10,000 guitars, your best bet would be using Reranch http://www.reranch.com/ Their Gibson Cherry/Heritage Red looks near the 'bing cherry' you are looking for. They have dyes also.
Do the neck in vintage amber, then put on the satin clearcoat.

Hi canon_mutant: where I live automotive paint suppliers can scan a photo digitally and the computer will then analyse the color and mix it up in nitro or acrylic as you choose. My supplier can load that into an aerosol too if you want, or put it in a tin ready for your spray gun and compressor.

I bet that exists where you are too.

Cheers - C
