All the bass player needs is a Fruit of the Loom outfit to complete his rig... I'm thinking grapes. As for the keytar I thought she was using it for a prop as she practiced her gymnastic routine.

No wonder I can't get paid... aside from my lack of talent I have no sparkly outfits, outlandish instruments, or talent. Did I say no talent?

The Red Elvisses play a small role in the movie "Six strings samourai". Not the greatest movie of all time, but worth seeing, here's the link for the trailer.

That's the shape acoustic basses used to be in. Somebody brought in to my local shop a 1930's Gibson bass and it had that exact shape. Now why they have that shape on a solid body bass, I have no clue aside from the fact that it is completely and totally awesome. Dear Fender, Doritocaster, make it happen.

Saw one of those traditional basses underneath the arcades off Museumsplatz in Salzburg the other day. It had a great sound (unamplified), they were doin' the old baroque thang. Nice!
