Good mornig all, I have a Fullerton Stratocaster V00xxxx 57 1983 but probably the body is "Corona"...... In the body neck pocket there is stamp "57-STR". I have never seen Fullerton body with this type of stamp.
What do you think?

With the guitar being a 83, it is entirely possible it was made in Japan. Didn't Fender shut up shop in 85 and rely on their Japanese guitars to keep the flag flying for awhile.
Given that and the serial no' confusion of guitars from that period, coupled with Vintage reissue guitar's serial numbering complexities. It sounds possible to me that the guitar is infact a 85.
