I saw him in Miami at the Miami Jai-Alai Fronton. July 5, 1970. The greatest show I ever attended for $5.00.

Sacramento City College Women's Gym -- sometime in February 1968

Promoters were forewarned for the SCC concert......they had the fire department standing by.

Jimi played at the Okeefe Center(I believe that was the venue) when we lived in Toronto but my parents wouldn't let me go because there would be "drug smoking hippies"there. That's the closest I ever got to seeing him live other than on video.BTW I was only 14 so I guess their worries were legitimate but I was bummed out needless to say.

Saw The Jimi Hendrix Experience on a Saturday in September of 68 at the Hollywood Bowl, I saw a record of this concert on a website (in 03) which I searched for and can no longer find. The line up was: Heir Apparent, Soft Machine, Vanilla Fudge and then The Jimi Hendrix Experience closed the show. That website I couldn't find put the date as Sept 14 but I didn't keep the ticket stub so can't verify that. He was great and now I'm wondering if I haven't written all of this before on this Forum.

I almost saw Jimi Hendrix, long time ago (1968 ?), in the Utrecht, Holland. I got a ticket for the concert, went there, there were lots of other groups playing, do not remember them,( the only one I remember is Pink Floyd), I was there mainly for Jimmi.
Then there came the announcement, Jimmi was not coming, the night before he had broken his leg, in London while boarding an airplane.
