Nice. Great tune and sweet LP. What amp are you playing through?

You can go fancy, but I always go back to the amp and 2 pedals (sometimes no pedals).

Most times for me. it's just guitar, cord & amp.

And I trim the nails short on both hands.

And, as always..

I like cheese.

The anodized does look great and it also helps with the hum issue.

I looked all over for one for a humbucker, no luck.

I did not comment on your playing, as you are better then I, so I am not qualified.

I will say I enjoyed it.

As to the video, you cut half the guitar off, the lighting was horrid and we would have liked to see you in it, not your legs.
If your going to play to a soundtrack, try and get a karaoke one so we can really hear you play.

I get the whole don't want to show your face on You tube, I wouldn't want mine on there either so I do understand, but some better lighting and setting the camera to cut you off at the throat would have been a better format.
Backdrop is important as well, maybe a nice white sheet behind you next time with the amp in the shot would be better the a chair, box of stuff and things on the floor.

Please understand, I am not picking on you, I am only trying to help you make a better one next time, and I am looking forward to your next one.

Ok first off to critique your playing. You were playing sharp and flat and you made a huge mistake on the A#14/Am26 arpeggio riff. Second what a heck is with those sweat pants do they make you play sporty riffs.

Just joking in regards to above comment . You are cool dude and btw nice LP (i think I complemented you on that in the past).

Good playing; I would like to hear it without the backing music (just you) cuz I really liked the tone...

I thought you did a great job. I don't know if anybody else will pick it up, but I think Hendrix is one of your main influences...him and Englebert, of coarse.

Seriously, you really showed that you can rip on a song that is known for one type of guitar (strat) with a completely different instrument (les paul).

Good show, Nevin. :D

'Really enjoyed the playing, good on you.

Thank you for sharing.

Usually, Fender, Gibson or very old Ibanez "lawsuit era" guitar or bass, Planet Waves Circuit Breaker cable, Line 6 or Fender amp.

Or, acoustic, no amp.
