I was playing this yesterday and instantly fell in love with it. Its $4300 out the door with HSC. What are your opinions on this particular guitar, 1957 Les Paul Custom VOS.

That's about what I paid for my AAAAA flame-top R9 eleven years ago.

If it puts a smile on your face, go for it.

that's what I was thinking, it must be nice that have that kind of loot laying around. I'd rather put 4300 into 2 nice vintage guitars, but if you lik it go for it...it sure does look nice.

Fabulous choice, for sure. But ... for $2200 minus the current $220 sale price (that's just $1980 out the door w/ no tax and free shipping),
you can get from MF a used class-1 (mint, just like new) Les Paul Standard in ebony. That is way less than half the price of the one you are looking at. But that's just me ...

Do you live near a major music center like, L.A., New York, or Nashville? If so, check Craigslist, you may be able to find someone hard up for cash with the same guitar. I know the feeling, I recently played a $3500. 1958 LP VOS that hasn't left my thoughts since I put it down. Good luck!

For that kinda od money, the custom shop here could build you the guitar of your dreams.

But, it's your money, spend it any way you want too.

If she speaks to you and feels great go for it.I paid pretty big bucks for my '65 John Lennon Casino and never regreted it-the most comfortable guitar I've ever played and tied with my '65 Strat for sound.

If you really like it and you have the money to spend on it, go for it. Very nice looking guitar.

Yea? What two nice vintage guitars can you get for $4300 these days? Many great vintage guitars in the Fender and Gibson family are at least in the $10,000 USD range now.
