Congrats Mike, you are one busy cool guy. I signed up to this forum little bit after you and I am not even breaking 500 posts. I gotta get this thing rolling.

I had cancer surgery in '08 and started 6 months of chemo soon after and was able to bring a laptop and that's what got a lot of my posting in.

Don't follow that route!

Way to go Mike. What other concerts in S. FL have you been to? I saw your photo of The Who at Code One in Ft. Lauderdale.

Mine was just the other way around...chemo and then surgery followed by radiation.
It was while I was in the depression of chemo that I decided to get back into guitar after a long absence. That was early 2009...seems like so long ago.

Both the guitar and this forum helped me get over the funk.
Can't play much but I have a ton of fun with the guitar and also this forum and reading from folks like you Mike!

Keep up the wonderful posts and nothing but the best of news when you go in for checkups! 18 months cancer (and counting) free for me!

WOW, 11,000 posts ... simply amazing level of contribution here and yes, the one negative aspect of it is that unfortunately you've exhausted the available 'pick icons' already! :-)

I wouldn't sweat it, he's got a pick for every string.
