If you could only have one guitar and one amp what would you choose? I'm sure my mind may change tomorrow, but right now I'd say my handwired 57 Deluxe Reissue and my 52 Reissue Tele. How about you?

Fifty years ago life was simple. it was a '58 Stratocaster, a '60 Dano, '61 Fender Concert Amp and a Danelectro tank reverb.

These days not so. There's an '89 Clapton, a Gilmour NOS, a Deluxe VG, an '02 Custom Shop Heritage LP, a Line 6 Ax2, Crate Taxi and Limo, a new ZT Club, (and a '57VHR on backorder...if they ever get to it.)

Ever see :?: Sophie's Choice

Which one gets left behind to die. :?

Oh, and P.S....three acoustics :!:

I would say my Yamaha semi-hollowbody, and a tweed Bassman or appropriate clone.

I knew at some point I'd change my mind. Right now I'd have to say, my '73 Dual Showman Reverb and my '62 reissue Strat. I'm running the Showman into a Marshall 2-12" closed back cabinet with 75 watt Celestions. I'd also bring a Keeley modded Blues Driver.

my highly modified am dlx strat into
the super reverb 65 reissue ( I have tube screamer to help crunch )

In fantasy land I would like a vintage 65 stratocaster with
a maple board (very rare I think you had to special order like that)
and a vintage 57 tweed twin 5e8 circuit
