Post subject: EXTREMLY RARE STRATOCASTER

Hey i have this rare fender but no one seems to have any proper information on it. its olympic white with a pearl scratch plate. has emg pickups with a humbucker at the back its a 40th anniversary cause it has the red white and blue badge at the top also the plate at the back i think its a deluxe model because it has the same specs as the deluxe series................any one able to help out?

its just been modded with new pickups and a different neck has been put on it. To be honest I want to change the pick ups in my guitar to emg's. Nothing wrong with it, your obviously happy with the feel and the sound hence buying it :)

Every production Am. Std neck had that badge that year. How do I know, i have one.

Not rare, yours just sounds modded.

Yeah thats it but the slanted pickup is a humbucker and they dont have the metal pins they are coated and look like blocks i got it valued and turns out to be £5000 boost also i didnt buy it i got it from my mum who someone bought to her hahaha but its an awesome guitar one of theeeeeeeeeee best fenders around but im a drummer really so what do iknow;) thanks for the reply and getting in touch much appreciated

Must be a typo. You added an extra 0 to that price. You seem to ignore the fact that it's highly modded, far from original, and even if it was all original it wouldn't be worth only a fraction of what you had it 'valued' at. Is that even a genuine Fender body? Glad you enjoy it though.

It's not a deluxe bridge, maybe a american standard one. Reason being the saddles aren't polished. Thats definitely a 40th anni logo on the neck.
It looks legit, either a pickup swap or a partso, the only way to determine which is to get it apart.
