i found a SRV wooden box set while out this weekend.
i dont know much about it. it comes with 2 discs.
on the cover of the flip top box is an ingraved pic of SRV and the state of texas. its numbered, 235 of 1,000. anybody know anything about this set?

the box is super cool, and well made.
when i get it friday i'll have to post pics.
if theres really 1,000 of these made, somebody went through some trouble. hope it was worth it to them.
im only giving $30 for it. well worth it for the box alone if ya ask me.
his pink looking live CD is in there but i cant remember the other one.

Is the live disc "In the Beginning"? It's a radio broadcast from a show in Austin in about 1980, and it has a pink and black cover. Being an insane obsessed SRV fanatic I'm surprised I haven't heard about this box set thing. Is it new or is it something at least a few years old? When you get it be sure and post some pictures!
