Welcome to the forum. :)

You may need to tell some of us what a pickup yell is. Are you talking about screaming into the pickup and having your voice come thru the amp?

If so, I don't think that it will work at all on your Squire. Ceri and Martian (for two) know better than I do, but I think you would need a microphonic pickup like on a cheap 60's Japanese guitar. One example of such pickups are known as "foiltops".

If I completely missed your question, please excuse me and refer back to the "Welcome to the forum" message. :)

By pickup yells do you mean what yerman is doing at about 37 seconds into that video?

I'm sure there's plenty of guides on the internet to de-microphonofying your pickups, you could find one of those and work your way backwards.
The ideal situation would be to get your wiring done in such a way to turn microphonacity of your pickups on or off, but alas I haven't the faintest notion of how one would go about doing this.

You all need to know how to spell Squier first.

Perhaps all you need to do is revisit your sentence structure.
