Thats cool? It was uncomfortably warm here, and it was like 20c (68F)
thats warm? its funny how diffrent countrys have diffrent opinions on whats warm and not

Well my wearing of a full school uniform including thick woollen blazer probably didn't help if I'm honest.

consider yourselves lucky. my uniform is khakis and a purple polo. add in undershirt, boxers, socks, and my DCs and i get HOT. why? because every room in my god damn school is AT LEAST 95 F if its like 80 outside... religion room actually hits 100!

Well that is propably because the earth is in it's closest position towards the sun in January (during high summer on the Southern hemipshere (but I propably don't need to tell you that  )) but in it furthest position in July (during high summer on the northern hemisphere). Where I am living 20°C is consitiered very hot and can actually cause drought. A month of 16-20°C sunny wether cost me two days pay in the summer of 2003 while I was working for the town cutting grass. :?

Nice to hear you victorians getting some rain there riley (finally!) Although I have seen the floods are getting out of control..

In Auckland the climate varies from -4c in winter to 32c in the summer. at the moment mate- same here. Its raining and raining and it wont stop. Feel your pain my friend but be thankful its not fires again. Actually lets hope there will be none because of the rain your having. Down here we have no ozone layer in the summer to protect us from the UV rays from the sun. That is why our skin cancer rate is extremely high in the OECD, and when your in the sun you can feel the sting on your shoulders in less than 10mins flat.

heres a local weather report to give you an idea of whats going on mate

It's been raining for some time but the air is still warm. I hope the climate will change to have a colder surrounding.
