so today i go on to the sweetwater web site. didn't look way different until i took the tour of the buiding online. holy cow!

they have all kinds of facilities on site. health club, video games, a good-looking place to eat. ....looks like a great place to work.

has anybody been to their facility? i live about an hour away, and i could probably spend the whole day there.

also, has anybody bought from them? your feedback is appreciated

I've bought a few instruments and a few parts from them. I have nothing but the highest praise for them.

+1. Great service. And you get candy in the box when you order online from them. :D

Yes I have been there and it is a really cool place. Every June the have an event on the grounds. Lots of vendor displays, workshops, flea markets ect. I went in 2008 and 2009 but was out of town this past June.
If you live only an hour away I would definitly check them out.

I think they call the event Gear Fest.

I've been there many times. Its a great place, state of the art building, and they do a great job taking care of customers. I am also about an hour away and I stop in every chance I get. The guitar showroom does not have everything in it, but they will bring you anything you request. Even if it is still in the box.

Sweetwater is great to deal with. They match prices, too. I have purchased often from them ( Strat, Amp, powered mixer, plus small stuff). Ask for Nick Church, the English guy, if you call in an order!

Whenever I open a box from anyone else, I joke "where is the candy"!

I absolutely love Sweetwater. I can go, look at guitars and my wife and son can play pool, arcade games, hit golf balls, watch tv, or eat in the cafeteria. It about as close to Google's facilities as I have been too. The best thing is although they have a tiny show room, they have a gigantic warehouse that has pretty much any guitar you want and they will gladly get them out, unbox them and let you play whatever you want. They also custom setup every guitar and extend you warranty for 2 years.

I love Sweetwater. My Sales Engineer there Tom Maxwell is awesome. Always calls about orders and even called to see how I was doing after my surgery recently. Plus they always beat the competition's prices!
ABS :D

Yes, I did forget to mention that they will price match. I didn't realize that the HQ was in Ft. Wayne (40 mins away). Last year was the first time I ever went there and it's now a frequent stop. If you are anywhere around Indiana, it's worth the visit. Again, don't be fooled by the small storefront, they have close to a gagillion guitars in stock that they will gladly let you play.

Sweetwater is outstanding! My sales engineer is Jeremy Wright. He gets me what I need, even if they don't show it on their website, he'll price match when I ask and he's great about keeping up with me and what I do w/out being a "salesman" about it.

I recommend Sweetwater 100%
