The worst injury that I encountered was when I was hit by a car then got a broken foot. Hopefully I got recovered and now I am walking and running just fine.. :D

Waterballoon launcher+my nads+summer picnic= peeing blood for week and a half.
or
28 ounce framing hammer+rikkitty old ladder=pealing off 1/2 a thumb

You decide, but both were within a week of each other.

I was T-boned by a car on my motorcycle, compound fracture of the tibia and fibula. Nothing like seeing your bones sticking through your skin. Still got a piece of surgical steel from knee to ankle.

Got suckered in a bar. Lost a couple of teeth and a eye socket fracture. Talking when I should have been listening.

A couple of discs in my neck are in bad shape and cause chronic nerve pain from too many hours of dedicated classical guitar practice and performance. Now I only play classical when I work. The rest of the time its only blues and rock.

I cut down to the bone through my calf muscle and got a 50% laceration to my Achilles tendon. I had to have my muscle stitched back together inside and out and then another layer of stitches in my skin. Good Times

June 28th I had surgery to my right shoulder. Suppose to be in and out the same day. They gave me a nerve block. Well they keep me over night, at about 4 a.m. the block wore off. Pain was unbelievable. keep me one more day. I want in to Afib so off to the watch ward for one more day. Now 2 plus months later the nerve bock has my right hand numb I can barley hold a pick. No one knows what happened. The shoulder is doing OK. If any one out there has had nerve pain you know what I'm talking about.. A lot of lost sleep. Wondering if I can play at the level that i played before the surgery. Also wondering what I can do for a living I was a screen printer before. So no more lifting and garbing... Hmmm.. I still play, now I just try to have fun instead of doing scales and stuff.. Aloha,Mark

Well, let's see.

I wrecked my 4-wheeler as a kid (10) doing about 50 mph, I took a 90 degree turn and as it flipped sideways, I held on until a big tree stopped me. I stood up, looked down and noticed 2 bones sticking out of my left arm. The only thing I could say was "My dad's going to kill me!"

When I was 12 or 13, I got in a match fight (throwing lit matches at each other) with a friend and as he lit his match, I went down to blow it out and instead got a lit match to the eyeball. It actually burned a hole in the side of my eyeball.......this was 3 weeks after I got a patch off of the same eye from a papercut.

Around the same age, I was building a treehouse in the woods with a friend. Same friend from before and I had just nailed the bottom joints to 2 trees. I got on it and started bouncing on it (8 feet up) to make sure it was sturdy. It wasn't. His side came undone and as I fell, the nails caught the back of my thigh to try to help me break my fall. Ripped a huge gash. I refused to tell my parents and this was my first case of using superglue to stop bloodflow and close a wound. It worked, but it's a pretty good scar.

When both of my kids were younger (8 and 3), I was making my son a bow out of a limb and nylon string. I was using a knife to carve the ends and ended up cutting most of the end of my left middle finger off. Both kids started screaming "Daddy's going to die" because the blood was squirting about 5 feet across the room. I just superglued it back on.

A couple of years ago, I was trying to pry a chain hook open with a screwdriver. The screwdriver slipped as I was prying and I ended up stabbing myself in the corner of my left eye. I wouldn't let my wife see it until I made sure that my eye was still there. I ended up severing a nerve and to this day, I can't feel part of the top of my head.
