I missed out on the Dot. I offered 60 and never heard back. Then offered full 75 and never heard back. Oh well... next time.

Had the duct tape all ready too

Leave the headstock off and make a wall clock out of it. Just hang the headstock a few inches away at an obviously wrong angle. I saw this done in a music store and people commented on it every day.

My old Ventura is my first guitar. I got it at 12 or 13 years of age. I am almost 39 now.

This guitar had taken so many falls over the years that the crack started at the neck and headstock joint. Initially, looked like a surface crack, but one day it fell and the whole thing broke. But had broke the glue and not the wood. The RW fingerboard had also lifted at the first and second fret. It then sat like that for about 10 years, until about 4 years ago I took it to a luthier. He reglued everything, reworked the nut, fixed a saddle and then made the finish look like it had never broke. Then he leveled and crowned the frets. I spent $200.

This year, the crack showed itself through the finish again, but the headstock is holding one, and the axe stays in tune. This guitar plays like butter.
