I might be jamming with a group that uses the Jam Hub. Does anyone know much about this unit? Checked out the website and it seems interesting. I don't have a modelling amp or sans amp type box. Can I run regular pedals through this thing?

My friend has one and we jam on it. It is great. We've run keys, guitar and electronic drum set through it and it sounds great. Each player can control his own levels for each instrument so you can get the mix you like.

A friend of ours has a lake house and we were able to jam out on his deck late into the night without disturbing the whole community. I think they're and awesome tool. Keeps the wives or parents from going crazy too.

You can but it won't sound like a regular guitar. You really want something that will add the tone shaping of the speaker cabinet and the preamps. Guitar pedals don't do that. Try it with a regular mixer and you'll hear what I mean.

I hope you enjoy the JamHub!
