Dunno mate, I heard off that bloke who's jaw fell off (it was kind of a ugh ugh gumf uuuurgh noise that was translated for me) that the radioactive isotope helps penetrate the lacquer on maple fretboards. He went onto say that it also penetrates the fingers and causes mutation. He showed me a stump of what was believed to be a 6th digit growing on his left hand.

Anyways he totally ripped on his strat (which was covered in drool). He let me have a go and I was very impressed. It was a realy fluid playing instrument.

Now was it the radium water or the drool causing that. I must revisit him to further assess the instrument.

Actual Snake Oil was used in China as a topical pain reliever.

The fat of some snake in China is high in some active ingredient actually worked to relieve joint pain ... it took some time for "Snake Oil" to take on its current meaning ... the first step being "Stanley's Snake Oil" that didn't actually have any of that Chinese snake oil in it ...

I have a recipe for a Chinese bruise medicine, dit dah jow is a rough way of writing it in English.

Not sure it contains any snakes but it does have some parts of tigers and dogs in it. Andybighair will probably know more.

Brilliant bruise medicine, never seen anything like it before.

There's plenty of strays and a couple of zoo's.
Or you can still get it bought in from the far east if 'you're in the know'.

Since I stopped training I'm not 'in the know'.

In the 1970s, foot-operated vacuum breast enlargers were all the rage - many millions of women parted with $10 for the gadget.

However, even though a temporary increase in cup size was possible in some cases, this came at the price of often severe bruising - not such a good look.

I am shocked - shocked - by this disinformation. I have been using the vacuum breast enlarger for decades and I'm here to tell you it works. I have man-boobs the envy of Pamela Anderson. And not too much bruising.

So there.

Humm... Its been a while since I was last at a class but I do remember several conversations regarding, what I thought was pronounced as Dip Dah treatments for injuries. From what I've heard the ingredients vary depending on which Dit Dah Jow clinic you visited. Its proper “eye of newt, wing of bat” style potion type stuff which is usually made in to a poultice then applied to the affected area.

I've never tried any of it as all my Kung Fu injuries were minor and nothing a little Tiger Balm couldn't sort out. Though I wouldn't recommend it for those of you who practice Iron $@!&# Technique

Image
I have however had some Reiki treatment on my left knee from a very attractive practitioner friend who I used to work with (from who coincidently, I got my two cats Huxley (no longer with us) & Randel). Now that really is some crazy sorcery right there! And it's Iron $@!&# friendly (depending on the practitioner)

I also here Marmite is ideal for inducing stomach spasms resulting in extreme vomiting. YMMV :D

[A black and white picture shows a wartime airfield, a plane about to leave. Andy in a trenchcoat. Ceri kicks a bin containing a bottle of Vichy water.]

Andy, this may be the end of a beautiful friendship.

Sad. It had seemed such a promising start - the cats, the beachfront deckchair fights and all... [Sigh]

Cheers - C

PS: In real life I have actually spent time in Casablanca. You'll seldom hear a bad word from me about anywhere I've been in the world - the good traveller always looks for things to like in a place. But in the case of Casablanca I'll make an exception. Give it a miss, is my advice. It's pants.

YMMV - but it won't.
