On the neck pick-up, absolutely epic. Bridge? SHRILL.

Looks killer to me. I definitely like PRS guitars. I played a Mira with soapbars in at guitarcenter the other day and it was badA$$, super tone.

Nice! Nice photo too.

I pretty much use the neck pickup all the time on my guitars. It seems to me that most players live on the bridge pickup. Just never really my thing I guess. Of course I still use the bridge pickup. Just not that much.

Gorgeous guitar, compadre--I hope you enjoy it!

You said the bridge pickup was was shrill--I can believe it!
I've found many PRS guitars to be a bit too bright for my (personal) tastes, especially in the bridge position. I love the looks of them, like the feel of them, I but detest the price of most of them...even the imports are getting to be a bit heavy for my pocketbook.

Having said that, some of my favorite guitarists play them--David Grissom and Bugs Henderson to name two.

I have to say that your PRS is a work of art. I always want to buy one because they are some of the most beautiful instruments I have ever seen. However whenever I want to pull the trigger on one I play it and find that it can't do anything that my strats, gibson or Tele can't do and they do it better. It's not just the high price of the PRS because my guitars cost plenty, but they just don't sound as good as they look IMHO.

I agree that PRS guitars don't sound as good as Strats. They look great though don't they?
