ZZ Top - La Grange (it's simple but it's catchy)
Pearl Jam - Black (WTH Grunge's not dead)
Jimi Hendrix - Machine Gun (but all his other song's are welcome also :P)

This are just a few 'cause they're too many to mention

Far too many great songs to pick just one, but some of my favorites have been already mentioned: Whiter Shade of Pale, Crystal Blue Persuassion, Windy and I'd have to add "Good Vibrations" by the Beach Boys to the list.

I didn't think I could choose but . . . Strawberry Fields Forever.

Love that haunting guitar, the strange mellotron parts, the arrangement, just everything. The Beatles really were (are) the best.

yes, yes it is very dead... half of the bands arent even around anymore and most of the others have completely sold out (Pearl Jam).... punk is worse though.... its seems a bunch of little noobs have gone and given themselves mohawks, adopted the unmelodic, idiotic sounding screamo scream (as apposed to the barking and screaming such as black black flag, which actually had melodies)... THEY ALL SOUND THE SAME NOW!!!!!!!!!
