The David Crosby documentary was interesting. It's good to see how he turned his life around with only a week left to live.

...and the surprise son that he didn't know about and now does shows with!

Bootsy Collins did a great job on the narration. While watching the video and visuals it was like Jimi was doing the talking.

Lots of different headstocks on those varied Strats!

I watched it last night and was quite pleased with it.

My pet peeve is that in many documentaries about musicians and bands the editors sometimes don't use the band's original music playing in the background during the narration (copyrights maybe? So they use generic muzac that only sounds similar to the original) BUT this documentary was 100% Hendrix tunes all the way through! And great live footage I've never seen before, like the clips of Jimi at one of his shows opening up for the Monkees. The kids in the audience looked terrified! Haha that was great!

That controlled feedback was amazing to see and hear too!

I haven't watched the Zep one yet, but liked Janis and Crosby. Very well done docs!

I tuned in to the Bio channel last night only to find a much replayed bio on Bill Cosby, the Canadian Bio. Chan. must be different from the U.S. one although they both originate in the U.S. I just hope that it' becomes available in DVD format or they put it on Bio. Chan. here some time as Jimi was my best guitar teacher.

Watched the Led Zep one and pretty interesting, but not as much performing footage as the Hendrix one.

Here's how I'd rate them : (documentary content only)

1 - Hendrix
2 - David Crosby
3 - Janis Joplin
4 - Neil Young
5 - Led Zeppelin
