as a follow up, i have seen a few websites with pricing from 102.00 to over 800.00 a ticket. i can buy myself some serious gear for that money, and it will last a lot longer than 1 night. ouch........

About ten years ago, the Smashing Pumpkins did a "farewell tour" in small (for them) theater venues. The show sold out instantly, but I got x4 tickets together that were 2nd row center. I paid $50 each (face value), so I wanted to sell one pair for $100 each (so the pair I sold would pay for the pair I kept). Those extra pair of tickets sold on eBay for $700 !!! I ended up making $500 over my initial $200 investment, and that was with me keeping one pair for myself. It was an awesome show, but maybe I should have sold the other pair too)...
