I'm quite nerdy to be honest.....
I'm really into comic books and superheroes. I don't know if it would class as a hobby though. I really love batman, and have done since I was a kid, and as if to complete my nerdiness, I actually have a batman suit.

I have a 43 acre "ranch" in the country where I raise a few horses and a small herd of meat goats. The animals, house and barns are always in need of some type of attention.

My house in town is a 1942 2-story Georgian Colonial with a big yard - I enjoy both working in the yard and keeping the house in nice condition.

When I'm tired of working outside and my guitars don't have my attention, I collect vintage Gillette double-edge safety razors.

I have two of the coolest dogs in the world I hang out with.

Plenty to do...

That's the way to roll, right there! :D

I usually only get an hour in. A long time ago, I did 3 hours a night for a year. I always figured I got twice as good in that year.

I also like to fly fish and watch NFL football.

Motorcycles.

I used to buy and sell bikes like some people change underwear but I have "arrived" and I am totally satisfied with my current gear.
I see no possible upgrade path from this point. I own the 2 best bikes in the world, IMO.

BMW - sport-touring
KTM - off road (cross country)

Hence my name.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Yeah, I'm making some progress, after my hand seized up and I had to get accupuncture, I was scared I wouldn't be able to play anymore. That put things in perspective for me. I get in an hour or two in the AM before work, a couple when I get home in the evening, And then all weekend. and I am thankful for the You Tube jamtracks, they keep me jamming. My schedule isn't for everybody, but I'm single, and I put all my attention on my guitars. 8)

I love watching football (that's soccer to you Yanks  ). Mostly I follow my local club from when I was a kid, the world famous Celtic and I also support my country, Scotland, when they play. I also love many other sports including playing golf.

Aside from that I read a lot. From classic novels all the way to Bryson through to Gaiman.

I love sci-fi too and am a big fan of all 5 Star Trek shows and all 11 movies. I play a lot of RPG's on PlayStaion 3 also and have started re-living my youth with classic games systems from the 80's.

The geekiest I get though is my Transformers collection which has pretty much anything from boxed vintage 80's toys all the way up to modern day, comic books, statuettes, busts, other merch, etc. Its getting out of hand!

Cheers,

CC

Well in high school I took a lot of art classes and I would have to say that is probably my second passion.

Here's a picture of Bill Murray from the Life Aquatic that I did. It's not finished though. The eyes are blank (that's the color of the paper). I have this weird fear of coloring in the eyes on pictures because I feel like the whole thing is complete and then I'll ruin it with the eyes so I leave them blank. Pretty stupid thing to do I know...

I like ceramics too. Here's a raku moon guy I made. It pretty much looks like it's made out of metal in real life. Neither of these pics are really very good representations of what they actually look like lol.

Great work Dub-T,you certainly have a gift.My second greatest passion is reading,I'm a compulsive reader-even read the cereal boxes at breakfast. I read almost totally non fiction mostly educational of some sort or biographies of mostly musicians.I also spend a lot of time at my garden in summer and do some woodwork.I'm slowly getting back to working on guitars now that my hands are improving,I may even attempt to put together my '65 Strat that someone else almost ruined"restoring and refinishing"when it was 9 yrs old-I didn't know what I know now about not altering anything that has a remote possibility of becoming a valuable collectors item.

y'know, I don't think I have seen a picture of it, although I know you have mentioned it a few times.

I wouldn't mind seeing what it looks like, and a shot of one that looks like it used to.

Playing with my baby daughter and football. Up in till about two years ago when I tore my shoulder I played on a full contact flag league. (full blocking and stuff just no tackling). Now I just am an avid football watcher, go Notre Dame!
