Whatever the market will bear. I've seen them from $250 to a staggering $900. they are short scale beginner basses.

According to V.G. Price Guide the Musicmaster Bass is worth Between $600&$750. I bought my daughter a bass about 10 years ago and the brand was Musicmaster,it was a P Bass copy-I've always wondered if that was a copyright infringement.

There's no way I'd pay that much for a student model bass no matter who made it. They were okay, but not great sounding basses. I hope you get that much. I sold an old original Mustronics Mutron III and a Mutron Octave Divider for a grand for the pair a few years ago on EBay. People get stupid crazy when the bidding gets hot. Good luck.

I have a '78 Fender and a '97 Vista Tone Squier, both Musicmasters. Like it's been said, whatever the market will bear. I up'd the pup on the Fender to a Seymour Duncan from the original strat pup that was in there. They both sound nice through my Line 6.

Love 'em both and wouldn't part with either. Good luck if you're gonna sell yours.

Hey WI KISSfan,

I finally scored a Squier Vista MusicMaster Bass a few weeks back. It's black and in pretty good shape. Missing the tone and volume knobs, but easy enough to find. I like it! I"m getting close to completing my Squier Vista Series collection. You don't know where there's a good 12 string Venus do you? (Nice ones go for about $600.)

KENNY STRINGER - good luck selling - check completed sales on eBay to get an idea of what it's worth.

That's cool Ricky, I was surprised when I got mine to feel the weight of it. It's heavier than my original but the Vista Tone and the SD pup's in them are pretty equal in output, very convenient for switching out when playing.
