Long story short. house was broke into in late April. Good news, wife, 3 yr old and me were not home. Bad news, both strats, all pedals and amp stolen. Insurance company replacing everything. Recieved my new amp and Fulltone pedals right away. 1 strat is a custom shop strat(Robin Trower signature) so I understand the the wait on that one. But the other(vintage hot rod 62 strat) I don't understand why. Was ordered 1st week of May!!!! Really really sucks not having a guitar to play

Anyone rotten enough to break in to someone's home and take their valuables should be put away for a long long time, there's no room in society for their kind.I have a very protective and territorial German Shepherd at home whenever I go out and God help anyone fool enough to try to get at my guitars or anything else. These days a big dog or a security system is almost an essential for the homeowner....pity.

I live in East-Central Indiana. We now have a security system for the house. I try not to walk into my music room, but every now and then I can't resist. Walk in there and see a amp, new pedals but nothing to plug it into :!: :!: :!:
I know I'm not the only one waiting on a guitar, but does anyone know why the delays?

Best of luck getting the gear replaced soon...

There's been a long wait for anyone wanting American Fenders. The guitar store I work at only has a few more American instruments in stock, the rest have sold and it's going to be a while before we get any more in. My guess is that Fender is understaffed right now and can't meet the demand.

I do feel for you, but really, if you are guitarless, get a MIM as a fill in for now guitar and thus you have one to play wile you wait for the other ones to get in.

And once you have your new American made ones, you could always sell the MIM later on.

But I would suggest keeping it on hand for gigs, if it gets nabbed it will be far less painful.
