I play in a classic rock cover band Red Rhythm around Ventura and Los Angeles counties. I wrote an original song for us to play to announce "Last Call" at the end of our bar gigs. Take a look and let me know what you think. It is accompanied by a slide show to reinforce the lyrics.

All guitarists on this song are using Fender gear.

Guitar 1: 2005 Fender Stratocaster FMT HSS / Fender Hotrod Deluxe amp
Guitar 2: 70s Fender Stratocaster HSS / Fender Deville amp
Bass: 57 P-Bass

Fender Forever. Hope the clip makes you smile.

I really liked that. Loved the intro riff to it. I really do think that this is much better than the poppy trash that infects the charts at the moment.

Nice one :D

Nice hook, catchy lyrics, outstanding guitar riffs......and I absolutely loved the video.

We might want to "borrow" that tune for our set-list. Who do we make the royalty check out to?

Hey so pleased you all got a kick out of this. Isn't the bottom line having fun playing music.

And nothing would thrill me more to walk into a club or bar and hear someone else performing it. If you play it and record it please send me an mp3 at nigelsp@synthzone.com cos I would just love to hear it.

As I also play keys in the band as well as guitar I also run a website for electronic keyboards called Synth Zone ( http://www.synthzone.com ) and one of the lounge musicians on the forum there is putting together a bluesy jazz version for his gigs. I am really looking forward to hearing the polar extreme from the AC/DC feel we use. Aint music fun.

Nice work.

definite ACDC vibe (a good thing.)

You should play the slide show on a big screen when you perform the song.

Outstanding! Love the song and video. Like the others said, definitely reminds me of AC/DC. Great riff.

We have been talking about this. Even though we aren't about to add a big ftatscreen to the pile of gear we drag around there is one bar that we play that has a big flatsceeen behind and above the drummer. So we are going to try feeding it video from a laptop. Because we'd need to keep sync to it we'd need a version with no sound ( or maybe just comedy sfx ) but a click to keep us locked in.

But this is definately something that we would like to add when we can.
