Welcome home fellow Patriots.

Now, what we need to do is support these great men and women and make sure that we don't have replay of what the soldiers returning from Vietnam were subjected to. Not on our watch!

Good luck and I'll do my part.
What was so bad about the way returning Vietnam vets were treated was that the "Greatest Generation" was in power, and they had raised the kids who were coming home as well as the ones who were throwing rotten fruit and spitting on them and yelling "baby killer".
You know the "Greatest Generation"...the WWII heroes who came home to celebrations after VE Day and VJ Day.
They raised the "boomers"...both soldier and protestor.
Like Forrest Gump said...that's all I got to say about that.

To bad they didn't get to schedule the end of WWII a year and half ahead of time like obama! Well I forgot our politicians allowed the Military Commanders to WIN that one. That blame is on both Bush and obama and politics. Handing Iraq over to Iran now!!!!
Iran will be returning the favor of the 1980's onto a weak Iraqi force and we will have to deal with Iran some time in the future and they will be a nuclear force because we allowed it to happen.

CV, this history lesson isn't going to turn out so well, there isn't an answer as to why those decision makers would ever allow it to happen in the 1st place, thanks for reminding me.

Agreed -- Also, I have heard they are still leaving 50,000 troops in Iraq. Still too many. It is time to come home.

No it definitely is not over yet. My son will be leaving for his second tour in Iraq in a couple of months. They may be bringing troops home but they are still sending others there!
