I'm working on a guitar for a local young airman (USAF). Not much income and trying to raise a family.
His guitar is a beat up Peavey Strat style guitar. I have managed to come up with a new pickguard, pots, switch and an old Bill Lawrence L-500 for the bridge pickup.
Anyways, If anyone has a couple of non-ceramic single coil pups that are just gathering dust and would like to donate them to my project it would be greatly appreciated.

Good luck with your project Chet. I cleaned up and restrung an old Peavey T-15 a bare wood strat copy with what looked like a couple of p-90s and a cast metal bridge, a screamer of the first order. let us hear yours ( your friends from the Air Force ) when it is back together.

Holler if you need a bridge, Chet. I've got several brand new Fender import trems (2-1/16" string spacing) that are just laying around. They're in gold but I can scrub that plating off pretty quickly with some Brasso if you need chrome.

Peavey strat type....Predator or a Falcon?

I have a new set of 1969 Abbi's for the neck and middle I am putting in my 2010 strat, the old one that come out are all yours.

I do not know if there ceramic or not, but they do sound fairly good.

Just let me know.
