I don't use any pedals. I don't like the way effects sound on bass. I prefer a clean, fat, punchy sound like Marcus Miller's.

For those of you that were afraid or ashamed to post their cheap pedals...... have no fear because Jack is here!

Berhinger Wah - love the pedal. cheap and sounds good! my 1st pedal.
Danelectro Fab Distortion
Danelectro Fab Overdrive
Danelectro Fab Echo
Danelectro Fab Chorus
Digitech RP50 multi-effects processor
Digitech RP1 multi-effects processor
Digitech RP10 multi-effects processor

I sometimes use the RP50 as a single pedal in the chain by turning everything off except the compressor, or the equalizer, or phaser, etc. It seems to give the effects that I want. The RP1 and RP10 are used more than anything though. More often than not, I'm sitting in my corner of the world with headphones on going through one of the multieffect units. They both have great clean sounds and I like the phaser and some of the distortion on the RP10. The pedal wah on the RP10 is junk so if I want wah, I'll add the Berhinger.

So to all of you cheapskates, you're not alone. We buy what we can afford and sometimes we buy things to try out and later upgrade. To each his own and never feel like your equipment isn't good enough. I have ripped new @$@! vs some pretty good chains with my RP10 and RP1. It's all about tone and what you like. So any of you using cheap pedals, tell us what you have!

Currently working on a seperate fuzz stage for my fuzz's. A germainium side to complement the silicon side, each with their own volume control so it can be either, both or any mix of the two.

Aside from that when it's done I use

Danelectro Comp
Marshall vibrato/tremolo
Jen Wah
Badger Honeybee Fuzz
Danelectro 1&2 octave down thing
Burford octave fuzz
A rangemaster clone I threw together
Digitech Bad monkey
Boss pitchshifter/delay thingy (working on a delayed pitchshift at the mo')
Ken Multi Chorus/Phaser
Vox chorus/vibrato
Tokai Delay
Boss EQ20

byoc large beaver (Big Muff, ram's head version)
byoc o/d II (TS808)
Danelectro tuner
BOSS BD-2

Won the tuner when I bought a VHT special 6 amp.
The BD-2 is going under the solder gun for a Monte Allums, H2O plus mod. I liked it before I bought the o/d II and large beaver but now at high gain settings it sounds brittle in comparison.
