Note: very much semi retired, but studio still set up. On lazy days here though: racks & mixer, Mac and Pro Tools 7.4

Gig Rig

Guitar controls, to SKB pre-amp powered board:

Walsh Wah in recent times
Boss 7 band EQ*
Pickle (fantanstic)
Chameleon (great pedal)
Dodd Chorus/Phaser
Boss Delay
a second Boss 7 band EQ*

Twins from yesteryear and their controls in true stereo, Reinhardt 18 all alone/or with one Twin in true stereo and each one's controls.

* I like a flat signal and an even volume to the pedals after a Wah and then a flat signal and an even volume to the amp(s) at the chain end. Set overall tone and volumes via amps and then any changes per guitar controls. This way, stays very ear friendly through any volume and tone changes at instrument. The trick was taught to me by Duncan years ago.

DOD - Overdrive plus
DOD - Compression sustainer
DOD - Super stereo chorus
Dunlop Crybaby Wah
Boss - DR-550 drum machine (not a pedal but fun none the less)

In this order:
Danelectro D-2 Fab Overdrive
Boss DS-1 Distortion
Delta Lab DGFX-1 Multi Effects

That pretty much cover all my rock, blues, jazz, and clean sounds. The DGFX-1 is really fun to mess with... 8)

Not sure if I posted before but here are my pedals:

1. CE-3--Boss Chorus
2. GE-7--Boss Equalizer
3. MT-2--Boss Metal Zone
4. OD-2--Boss Overdrive/Distortion
5. HM-2--Boss Heavy Metal
6. DD-3--Boss Digital Delay (however about to purchase a MXR Carbon Copy to replace it.
7. FT-2--Boss Dynamic Filter
8. Original Cry Baby--Dunlop
9. Tu-2--Boss Tuner

I really like boss pedals. Built like a tank, sound good, and last forever. I am looking for a different delay, an analog delay and MXR is the forerunner in my wish-list.

I do not use all these pedals, in fact the HM 2 and the FT 2 I have not used in 5 years.

Boss TU2 Tuner
Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer (early reissue)-overdrive
Boss RT20 Rotary Ensemble-Leslie Cabinet simulator
MXR Phase 90 (early block logo, no indicator LED)-phase shifter
Dunlop MWA Crybaby (since I’m not famous enough for Dunlop to make me a signature series wah, I tweaked the electronics and highly customized the appearance of a GCB95)
Dunlop JH2S Jimi Hendrix System Classic Fuzz (basically a Fuzzface in a Phase 90 enclosure)-fuzz
MXR M86 Classic Distortion-distortion
MXR M133 Micro Amp-gain/volume boost
ISP Technologies Decimator G String Noise Reduction Pedal
MXR M-169 Carbon Copy Analog Delay-delay/echo-echo-echo
Morley ABY (for channel switching on a brownface 2x10 ’63 Re-issue Vibroverb)

All pedals mounted on/powered by Furman SPB8 Stereo Pedal Board

I also have a MXR M-66 Classic Overdrive and a Danelectro Daddy-O overdrive that occasionally make appearances on the pedalboard or individually…maybe there's a need for a secondary pedalboard to be assembled? Hmmm…

As far as what brands/types I like, I buy/play whatever sounds best to me (within budgetary restraints), but I find myself trending more and more toward MXR and Dunlop pedals. An octave pedal and perhaps a flanger are both on the GAS list, but no specific model or manufacturer have really hit the radar yet.

DOD Classic Fuzz, Dunlop Jimi Hendrix Wah, Danelectro Cool Cat Distortion, Danelectro Tuna Melt Tremelo, Dan Echo pedal (doesn't work anymore-it just sounds real quiet almost faintly) and a volume pedal.

As you can see I've got both the American and the Russian and I use the Russian the majority of the time. If you can find a good one get it.
