I love Soundgarden. I saw them live in Seattle in those past days of grunge (ahhhh, the old days). Although, unlike most of their counterparts, they were actually not very good live ... However, IMHO their studio work is some of the finest rock and roll ever produced. I just hope the new stuff is as good as the old ...

I must say that I agree with Kim Thayill's choice of guitars-the Guild S-100 is a bona fide Les Paul/SG killer,Fender/Guild should reissue it,it would really give Gibson a run for their money.

Chris Cornell opened for Linkin Park when they were here last and he played some Audioslave aswell as some oldschool Soundgarden. He played Black Hole Sun and some other songs but he was awesome. His wife and child were backstge and his daughter(?) ran out to him and he picked her up, threw her up and caught her & gave her girl a hug before busting out a new song. what a guy :)

I am totally disappointed. I just found out the "new" album is actually a restrospective. Bring on the new stuff, guys ...
