smooth...

He's like a machine... best of luck to that feller. I was particularly impressed with the precision on the arpeggios and rhythm... and when he fixes his hair at 1:53. Just wish the track was a bit lower but nicely done.

No disrespect intended but Sorry, sounded like GC on a Saturday afternoon. Like captainc said, he's like a machine. Lots of kids in my area play the same way. He does what he does well, with his talent, I'd focus on something more original. I think he has tremendous potential because he makes what he's doing so effortless.

He's only been playing for about a year. He still has a lot to learn.

The whole galloping rhythm/arpeggio thing does nothing for me. Kind of like the Stairway and Eruption stuff that went on in my younger days. It's king of old. He does have good timing though.

Personally, I hate the song itself. I outgrew that style music about 10 years ago. The kid has got talent and parents supporting him.

Sorry, no disrespect intended, but i'm seeing nothing more than just another shredder. I see them all the time at my local guitar center, demonstrating the same single thing, monotonous, soulless, speed trials. Big deal. I would be very interested in seeing him use that talent performing music much more worthy of his effort. Something that moves peoples emotions. But that's just me.

His mom has gotten him into more blues / blues rock stuff. That video was in feb. I have seen him play hendrix and Srv. Still even for a shredder he is good for someone playing for just a year.

I have seen many kids videos lately playing blues stuff, they hit the notes but have no feeling behind them. It's one thing to play them and another to know why they need to be played.

feeling comes with time and experience.
