For us over 50 geezers back in the day, "Pipeline" and "Wipeout" were staples in our repertoire in order to be taken seriously as guitarist. Another one which comes to mind was, "Walk Don't Run". I can pretty much guarantee that we all can still play these tunes off the top of our heads today too!

......I'll buy you a beer on that! But before the surfers took over there was all the Duane Eddy stuff, Johnny and The Hurricanes, Link Wray, and one hit wonders like Harlem Nocturne, Weekend,, Bongo Rock, Raunchy, the awesome instrumental version of Memphis, Guitar Boogie Shuffle......it was 'be the first one on your block to learn the guitar solo everytime a new record was released'.
