Hit the search button. There have been several discussions about this, many with pics. Good luck with your build.

I've used old boards and a control panel box that also has a lock. I have seen people use old skateboard decks, shelves, parts of cabinets or doors, etc...There are no rules. If you can put your pedals on it and carry it around, and it works for you, then just use it...

This is no joke. Our other guitar player uses a regular binder. It looks exactly like this:

And he attached a power strip to it on what would be the back. He's been using it all year.

the board im building is made from a flight case.
the lid detaches from the rest of the box and thats what my pedals are made onto. suit case and go type of thing.
its still in the works as we speak but when done it will look like the control panel for the space shuttle lol.

looks nice indeed. now you gotta make a top for it so it will act as a case when you travel from there to wherever.

Forum user Nikininja made his own board, do a search of topics, perhaps you'll find it. He had the measurements and everything I think :) Pretty handy chap I must say

Got the board done, now I'm making pedals for it!

Bass Wah on thursday, a decent sounding fuzzface yesterday. Focusing my attention on a valve driven overdrive today.

Thanks for the compliment mate.

Basicaly I got some wood and and made a hinged wedge.

Angled the top edge of the rear wall.

Made a wedge for the front.

Plant them onto a base then add the sidewalls.

Worked out the layout for the top.

Image

All wiring under the board.

Here's how it looks at the moment. I need a extension.

Image

Power strip inside to power all pedals, amp and wireless. Also room for storing leads. Simply plug the lead running out of the rear edge into the wall socket, the lead from the eq into the amp input, and it's good to go.
A friend of a friend made me a aluminium flightcase for it.
