Oh Yeah! I grew up playing Allman Bros. stuff, and after Duane died the band put out the Brothers and Sisters album. When I first heard the song Ramblin Man, I thought, who's that playing the double leads with Dickey Betts? Found out it was Les Dudek. http://www.xmfan.com/les.php So it was off to the record store to find some of his solo stuff. I have four of his albums, great guitar player! Virtually unknown. :? Don't think he's recording anymore, but he's still out there playing. :P

Les has said he helped Dickey Betts write Jessica and didn't get credit....maybe so,but he is a great player who doesn't get credit in the guitar world...along with thousands of other great players.
Another guy is Dan Toler, who played with the Brothers for awhile and Dickey in Great Southern. He was in the ABB in the Arista years when the albums were bland, but he is a great player and good guy.
