Was at a recent small festival here where I live in PA, and came across this amazing blues act. They're the Eric Tessmer Band from TX. Never had heard of them before, so I gave em a chance, and wow was I blown away.

That's the site, but as most of us know, studio work can't do live blues justice in most cases, so check out some videos. I talked to him and some of the rest of the band (who are very solid as well) and they all seemed to be genuinely nice people.

I'm in no way affiliated with them, I didn't even know them a week ago, but thought I'd share that with any of you who appreciate good, harder blues.

Thanks for the info. They sound great.

It was in Johnstown. They put on what they call the "Flood City Music Festival." I didn't expect much, but they had some great acts. Tessmer, Devon Allman's Honeytribe (son of one of the Allman brothers), Robert Cray, a cool roots rock type guy named Anders Osborne, and lots more. Was very impressed.
