I'm glad to hear that the session went well for you and it was a good call on your part to want to hear your amp live as no matter how good the phones they can't pick up every nuance of the amp and consequently you can't be inspired by the tone coming through the phones. Can't wait to hear the finished product-take care of your gifted hands and keep on pickin'.

If those were videos of the Fitzgerald's gig then yes, it's the same one. It's the hired gun gig with the indie/alternative rock band. The producer nailed me though, he told me that what I was doing reminded him of Let's Dance (David Bowie/SRV). I got busted.

In other news I just realized that the youtube video of me at the King of the Blues contest from 2009 has 6,100 views now! I wish they could hear what I really sound like now, since that was really the first time I ever played blues to a public audience and I was scared to death.

6100? Get it up to about 610,000. You need to make some new high quality video and get it out on the cyber social networks Rebecca... Might attract the attention of some advertisers and generate a little college revenue. Not to mention more publicity...which usually follows with more opportunity. 8)

Going to watch the video again and again and again.....

That's not a bad idea, I might do something like that later on. Actually, we (the band I'm hired in that I just recorded with) had a professional photographer come out to our College Station show and film the first four songs with his non-crappy camera. So that's going to be on youtube soon.
