Both guitar and bass for me. Since I do my own recordings, I picked up on both instruments.

I'm a guitar player, but I do have a Geddy Lee Jazz bass that I use for recording.

Bass since I was 12 years old (eewwww, that's 33 years ago!!!) and haven't gigged in 15 years. Still have my last bass rig and will never part with it.

But of late, I have been playing more and more guitar andafter a few cheapie purchases (and one half-decent acoustic), I bought the guitar I have always wanted to own, a Jaguar.

So I guess I have a foot in each camp now?

I try real hard not to think about it! And it's true, the years seem to pass that much faster now :(

Funny story... I went to a very special gig a few weeks back - http://www.qmf.org.au/02_cal/details.asp?ID=18 - and was almost laughing out loud when I walked up to the back of the crowd and noticed it was a sea of grey hair and bald patches. I was "home"... there were very few "young" people there :P

(Awesome gig, by the way!)
