Another vote for Crossroads
Imagination Movers (kids show with lots of music)
August Rush
The Red Violin (not a guitar movie obviously but a great movie nontheless)
10 Days Out Blues From The Back Roads (KWS's blues documentary)

Cadillac records is a good one. And maybe if you haven't seen it, The Blues Brothers.

Although this might not technically be a movie, I purchased the 4 DVD set by Time/Life titled LIVE -Rock & Roll Hall of Fame & Museum with performances at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction events. Absolutely wonderful performances from many of the greatest + four hours of bonus features.
Bought it at Best Buy.

+1
Just saw Cadillac Records this past weekend. Pretty good story of how Chess Records came about with Muddy Waters and Howlin Wolf and many others...these are actor portrayals not the actual performers. Lots of nice vintage equipment in the recording studio scenes.

Crossroads, a fictional story that takes you from New York City to southern USA "blues country" with some guitar playing along the way.

Great guitar work by Ry Cooder on this one.....

Yep ... and don't forget the performance by Steve Vai. Also don't confuse this with the Brittany Spears movie of the same name ...

Turn off Nickelodeon. There have been hundreds of guitar related movies since the 50's when guitar (especially electric) became a popular lead instrument.

Good suggetions so far. What about concert films and documentaries? That will add thousands more. Every band of even mediocre status for the past 25 or so years has put out at least one live concert video or DVD. Most Hollywood biopics are far from the truth, but still entertaining. Off the top of my head to add:

The Doors
The Girl Can't Help It (if just for the scene with Eddie Cochran and his big ol' Gretsch 8) )
School of Rock
Tenacious D The Pick of Destiny
Rock Around The Clock
The Buddy Holly Story
Backbeat (early Beatles when they rocked)
Let It Be
The Last Waltz
Woodstock
Crossroads guitar festival
Stray Cats rumble in Brixton
Cream farewell concert
The Beatles Anthology
Django Reinhardt: King of Jazz Guitar
there are thousands more....

And +1 for It Might Get Loud. You don't have to be a fan of Led Zeppelin, U2, or The White Stripes to enjoy it. It seems we guitarists have a lot in common regardless of musicals tastes.

Is that the Chuck Berry biography which Keith Richards had to put together a concert for? If it is, I felt so sorry for Keith by the end of that flick.

Great movie though.

Yes! That should go straight to the top of the list. Required viewing for all guitarists no matter what style you play. If it wasn't for Chuck Berry, we would be rockin' out on saxophones or accordians today.
