Does anyone know any good movies or TV series/shows which focus on guitar/music or a guitarist/rockstar/musician. NOT like "Drake & Josh", or Nickelodeon's "The naked band brothers". I'm looking for something serious, or even a comedy but something that's not made just for children. List anything you know, even cartoons, as long as they're not the childish type :!:

there was an interesting movie i watched the other night, strangely enough called "the guitar."

it was the story of a girl who found out she has a short time to live, so she decides to learn the guitar.

the most interesting part for me was in her loft, where she had a red strat plugged into 4 full stacks- 2 marshall, and i forget the others

i also like:
a hard day's night
that thing you do
help
les paul- chasin's sound
having a wild weekend- dc5

too many more to mention, but i hope the wrecking crew movie comes out sometime

Crossroads, a fictional story that takes you from New York City to southern USA "blues country" with some guitar playing along the way.

+1 on Crossroads, the Ralph Macchio version NOT the Britney Spears version.

Lead Belly. Watching Blind Lemon Jefferson try to stab people is the highlight I think
