Went to a local concert last night at this small intimate venue, it was Marcia Ball and one opening act (i forget their name). The opening act had a killer lead guitarist who looked 16 and awkward as all get out, but he could shred like a veteran (used a strat too!)

I really enjoyed the concert, it was a lot of fun, Marcia's guitarist used a tele and had a really cool solo where he and the sax player battled back and forth. Pretty cool concert.

I like her song, peace, love, and bbq.

Marcia has been playing around this area of the woods for a long time. Not as much as she used to though. Good musician and singer. I always enjoyed her and the band.

We love Marcia Ball here in south central Texas. In fact, one of my all-time favorite examples of the Austin sound is Dreams Come True by Marcia Ball, Angela Strehli and Lou Ann Barton.
